Now driving is the easy bit, its the high stress situations that can make or break a situation, and that is something Cody not only trains weekly for but has experienced through motorsports most weekend in real world situations.

Extreme speeds of over 200kmph lap after lap whilst racing in large packs is all part in part of what Cody is a custom to and on a large range of circuits including daunting street circuits, Mount Panorama and even the Nürburgring (nick names “ the green hell”). Each lap split decisions have to be made down to a tenth of a second which if wrong can have extreme consequences.

Clearing large packs through concrete lined walled street circuits, assessing grip levels at high speed before corner entry and managing the vehicle over long distances to ensure a finish is all part and parcel of Cody’s experience, but also his off track experience through long distant off road rally’s and his qualifications as a mechanic means that when mechanical drama strikes he can quickly establish if the vehicle can continue the journey and to what capacity safely. These situation have included but not limited to flat tyres, crash damage, suspension and brake failure, gearbox/driveline/engine damage and failure.

On top of this Cody has plenty of experience in dangerous situations, such as high speed car contact, emergency spins and car crashes. a typical race can see heart rates of over 150bpm for hours at a time, keeping calm and collected whilst making split decisions full of adrenalin is all part in part of what Cody can do.

With Cody’s qualifications as an automotive mechanic not only can he continue the journey until safe to stop or until the final destination, if forced to stop he comes equipped with his tool bag to help rectify the situation quickly in case of no spare car available. no need to wait for NRMA.

Cody has a very wide knowledge, familiarity and experience of vehicle, from budget brand smalls cars, race cars all the way up to high end supercars such as Ferrari, Lamborghini and Aston Martin, meaning little to no training is needed to jump in a vehicle and fully understand its capabilities.
